This website records some of our voyages in our narrow boat Clemency and our preparations for an extended voyage on the British Waterways in our retirement. Fortunately, my family continue to indulge me in my eccentricities and I have noticed that Ursula is beginning to suggest that various DIY jobs around the house would be good practice for doing  such and such on the boat. Meanwhile, we have completed the long trek eastward to the Fens and Clemency is now on a very pleasant mooring on the River Great Ouse. about an hour's drive away from our home in Norfolk.

Ursula and I are, I hope, now very close to that long-planned retirement on the waterways.
